Quilted Pot Holders
I made this cute pair of potholders for my mom. She was saying how she needed some new ones so I found this pattern at the Craftzine blog.
Pretty quilted pot holders
I used one layer of Warm & Natural batting and one layer of Insul-Bright.I didn’t quilt it as much as the picture on the above blog and I added some cute ribbon and a tiny button for a little bit of style.
Mom was very happy with them but she is hesitant to use them because she says they are so nice. Mom, I made them for you to use! : )
I also made a few more pairs of the potholders for our Church’s “Harvest of Talents” fundraiser this fall. This is a very easy sewing project, and handcrafted potholders would make a great gift idea for weddings, housewarming parties, and for cooks in general.
