I am terrible about buying magazines while waiting in the check out line at the store! I just can’t help myself… I gotta have it! You know what I mean?

Awhile back I sprung for a Food Network magazine while waiting in line. It had a lot of interesting recipes that I am going to try (really I am). I gave “Vegetable Fried Rice with Bacon” a trial run on my husband and son and it received great reviews. So I have made it several times now and decided to share it.

While thinking of writing a post about this recipe… it dawned on me to see if it was online. Low and behold, there it was. My first thought was…”I paid money for a recipe that is online?” But i guess the chances are high that I never would have found this yummy fried rice recipe if I hadn’t bought that magazine. So I am ok with it being online… now that I have thought it through!

I have a couple of fried rice recipes that I use from time to time and Vegetable Fried Rice with Bacon is one that I’ll be keeping in my file.
